Privacy Statement

SECTION 1 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

To use our service you must connect your Twitter account. As part of that process, we store information from your Twitter profile, including your Twitter username. We don't have access to your Twitter password at any point.

Note that we store information about your tweets, including, but not limited to, their content, on our servers, for the purpose of providing our service. We delete tweets from our servers when you delete them from Twitter using our service, or when you re-fetch your tweets from the twitter API.

SECTION 2 - CONSENT

How do you get my consent?

By visiting our site we imply that you consent to us setting cookies, and logging data about your visit, including, but not limited to, your IP address. You also consent to us providing data about your visit to Google analytics.

When you connect your Twitter account you give us permission to perform actions, such as deleting tweets, on your behalf. By doing so we imply that you consent to our collecting and storing your Twitter account information, including, but not limited to, the content of your publicly-available tweets, and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

How do I withdraw my consent?

If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent at our "forget me" page here. That page will give you the option to have us delete your twitter account information from our servers.

Note that data about your visits to our site, including, but not limited to, your IP address, may be available in our log files for up to 90 days after you withdraw your consent, and such data may be available to your ISP indefinitely.

SECTION 3 - DISCLOSURE

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 4 - HEROKU

Our store is hosted on Heroku. Your data is stored on Heroku's servers, and is subject to their security practices.

SECTION 5 - LINKS

When you click on links on our website, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites, including, but not limited to, Twitter. We encourage you to read their privacy statements.

SECTION 6 - SECURITY

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

SECTION 7 - COOKIES

We use cookies to store a session ID that allows us to identify you as a specific user. We do not store any personal information in cookies. If you disable cookies you will not be able to use our website.

Google Analytics may also use cookies to track website visit data.

SECTION 8 - GOOGLE ANALYTICS

We use Google Analytics to generate aggregated data about site visits, so we can improve the performance and utility of our site. The data we send is not directly personally identifiable: it does not include information such as your Twitter handle. However it may include information, such as your IP address, that could possibly be used to identify you. You can read about what data is sent to Google Analytics, and how that data is used, here.

SECTION 9 - STRIPE

We use Stripe to process credit card payments on the site. All credit card data is sent securely to Stripe's servers. We have no access to that data, and store no information about it.

SECTION 10 - AGE OF CONSENT

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

SECTION 11 - CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.

If our website is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to provide service to you.
